Intinerary:
The tour starts at 7.30 a.m. with pick-up from Union Square (Hotel Horoscope) in the center of Bucharest city, GPS location Bd Dimitrie Cantemir 2, Bucuresti 040231
Stop 1 (2 hour) – Peles castle
After two hours and a half drive, you will have the first stop (two hours) in Sinaia – a famous Romanian mountain resort nicknamed the “Pearl of the Carpathians.” Here you will visit the former summer royal residence of the first king of Romania, Carol Ist. Built in the second half of the XIXth century, Peles Castle remained a vital legacy of the Romanian Royal Family, a symbol of honor and discipline. We will visit here the interiors of the castle (about one hour) and the splendid gardens around the castle.
Stop 2 (2 hour) – Dracula Castle
After this, you will continue the journey and we stop (two hours) at Bran Castle, commonly known as Dracula’s Castle (inside visit). The imposing construction, originally built as a fortress at the former border between Wallachia and Transylvania, looks out over a valley from its strategic position. The function of this medieval landmark is evident through its grandiose towers as well as its winding narrow staircases and passages.
Stop 3 (2 hour) – Brasov
We will continue towards to Brasov where you will have free time to enjoy the old town. We will enjoy a walking tour through the old town center, and explore many famous sights including the Black Church, the Council Square, the Hircher House and the baroque style buildings from the Austro-Hungarian time.
We will be back in Bucharest in the evening, around 20:00 p.m. You’ll return to the starting point in Bucharest.
